Behind the Scenes at Rocket SEO

When you’re deciding to take the leap and hire an SEO company, you want to make sure that you’re selecting the best fit for your needs. You want results, but also want to be able to ask questions, get feedback, make suggestions and be heard. Which is why we’d like to give you a little behind the scenes look at how we do things here at Rocket SEO!


One of the best, if not the best, attributes of Rocket is our people. Coming from a variety of different backgrounds, the team is comprised of people who are enthusiastic about the work they do and who are always looking for new and exciting ways to make us a leader in search engine optimization.
The first time I heard the term “SEO company”, the image that came to mind was an office full of serious-faced employees in suits frantically typing on keyboards and yelling like ER doctors when any rankings started to slip. Although there may be companies that are like that, it’s a completely different experience at Rocket SEO. Here we work with the strategy of open communication – if someone has an idea or a suggestion, we listen. If there’s a concern, or something isn’t working, we fix it. It’s not a cold office with yelling here – behind the scenes, it’s an expressive and friendly environment (except during the occasional after-hours videogame tournaments, but there’s nothing wrong with a little competitiveness).
For each new client, there are certain steps that are followed for the initial review. But our approach evolves differently for each client – some sites benefit from being completely re-done, but others just need a few tweaks here and there. Some are a great fit for an AdWords campaign, some could use a social media boost, maybe an increased frequency in blogs posts….each client is unique and is treated as such. You’re probably familiar with the term “two heads are better than one”. Well let me tell you, eight heads are even better than two! The team here at Rocket holds weekly meetings to review which clients need some more time dedicated to them, what strategies are working, and what we want to try next.


There’s also the added benefit of sharing an office space with two other companies – Adverdea (design) and Webility (development). So if we have a client that needs a new logo, or perhaps would like to branch out into having a custom application built, we’re able to provide those additional services with the certainty that it will completed by capable hands. This also gives us the ability to have a greater understanding of what can work well outside of the standard SEO checklist because we’ve got design and development minds available to bounce ideas and strategies off of too.
To sum it up, Rocket SEO is more than just your average SEO company. We’re real people who are enthusiastic about what we’re doing each day, care about our clients, and have fun doing our jobs.
